Tutor of Singing and Opera

Anna has been teaching singing for the last 10 years, to students of a large variety of ages and abilities. She started as an apprentice to the head of singing at the Junior Royal Academy of Music, and has since assisted the vocal expert Mary King (presenter, BBC Cardiff singer of the world).

 

Anna studied Music at Oxford University and Singing at Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has sung for a wide range of British opera companies (Garsington, Grange Park, Birmingham Opera Company, Dartington Festival) and has given concerts throughout the UK and Europe. 

Anna is passionate about music education and music in the community. She has been involved in education projects for Glyndebourne Opera, Garsington Opera, The Grange and is an artist for Live Music Now! 

Anna says, “For me, voice is an integral means of self expression and communication, so whether I am working with the next Pavarotti or someone who has never sung before, I love the challenge of helping my student make the most beautiful, free sound that they can, releasing that inner potential that informs both music making and daily life."
