Adam S.

Tutor of Electric Bass Guitar, Guitar, Music Technology/Production and Music Theory

Musician Adam Steele took up electric bass following a childhood surrounded by
music and filled with trialling different instruments. Progressing swiftly, he went on
to study music performance and production at Paul McCartney’s LIPA Sixth Form
College in central Liverpool from 2020-2022. During his time at LIPA, Adam made
his mark on the local music scene as a choice sideman and found himself on the
bill for BBC introducing at the Cavern, on BBC Radio and on streaming services.
Looking for a new challenge, he then came to Trinity Laban Conservatoire in
London to study jazz.

Adam has an infectious enthusiasm about teaching, and over the years he has
taken on students from a wide range of groups and helped them to reach their
goals- from playing their first note to getting into university. His lessons are very
personalised and student focused, and he adapts his process on a case-by-case
basis using his breadth of knowledge and experience regarding multiple
instruments, technology, production, industry and theory.

‘Adam is a natural teacher with a knack for making difficult concepts sound simple
and easy to understand.’

‘After trying a few teachers and not really enjoying it, Adam took my goals seriously
and wasted no time in getting me up and running playing my favourite songs.’

‘Adam got me through my grade exam!’
