Aleksander S is a professional guitarist, bassist and music teacher based in South Wimbledon, London. With over a decade of experience playing, performing and recording, he has established himself as a session musician and a dedicated educator.

Originally from Norway, Aleksander’s love for music started early and he began taking guitar lessons at 9 years old. That passion led him to move abroad to London, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Popular Music Performance. Since then, he has performed at venues and festivals across the UK and internationally, including the Islington Assembly Hall, Whelan’s (Dublin), Victorious Festival, and DeWolffest (Netherlands). His session work has seen him collaborate with a range of artists and bands, spanning genres from pop and R&B to rock and jazz/fusion.

As a teacher, Aleksander works with students of all levels, from complete beginners to experienced musicians looking to refine their technique. His lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, focusing on making learning the guitar a fun and motivating experience.

With a relaxed yet effective teaching style, Aleksander is passionate about helping his students grow as musicians, just as his own teachers did for him. Whether it’s learning a favourite song, mastering improvisation, or diving into music theory, he provides a supportive environment to help students reach their full potential.
