Aleksandra T
Saxophone, Flute and Music Theory
Born in Poland, Aleksandra picked up the saxophone at the age of 14. She studied with the most prominent jazz figures, including Maciej Sikala and Piotr Baron.
She relocated to UK after completing her BA(Hons), and she currently performs both as a leader and a collaborator at major jazz venues including Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, Ronnie Scotts and more. She is a part of Gary Crosby’s Nu Troop and leads her quartet performing at festivals around the country.
Based in London, Aleksandra holds several teaching positions, one of which is Female Collective Frontline in Southbank Centre, aimed at emerging female jazz musicians.
