Piano and Music Theory
Alice’s professional life is fully filled as a pianist/accompanist, senior piano teacher and music examiners in London, China and Malaysia. She graduated with Bachelor of Music, piano performance from University of Malaya and Royal College of Music, London with Master of Education in Music. She has also been appointed as an examiner both for China Conservatory of Music (CCMusic, China) and International Musical Arts Association (IMAA, USA).
She has dedicated and personalized approaches in teaching and has helped many students to successfully passed and achieved distinction in the music exams such as ABRSM and Trinity for years. Each student is encouraged differently in some relaxed and enjoyable way to the best of their understanding and ability, in order to foster their interest and love of music. On the other hand, aural exercises, piano technique, musical expression and interpretation, as well as performance preparation and practice can be stimulated and progressed with various methods, to help them learn for pleasure or with the goal of sitting in exams, performance, festivals and competitions.
