Andy B

Electric/Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Ukulele and Music Theory

Andy B is a guitar player and teacher from Italy with over 20 years of experience, based in London, UK. Andy started playing guitar at the age of 12, thanks to his dad, a professional bass player. He has been influenced by guitarists such as Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, Eric Johnson and Joe Satriani.

In 2009 Andy moved to the UK after winning a scholarship to study at BIMM, one of Europe’s leading music college, where he graduated in 2010. Over the years Andy has toured UK and Europe with a number of different bands, performing at some of London’s best venues, and recorded in some of the most exclusive studios, including the world famous Abbey Road Studio 2. He worked with top artists such as Tommy DeCarlo (lead singer of American rockers Boston)

In London Andy has been, playing and recording with bands such as: Kill For Eden , Future Shock, Indya, Kill The Kid, Full Blown Acoustic and Sound With Us. In 2012 Andy has been voted best Individual performer by Playmusic Magazine, and in the same year he received a full endorsement with Fret King guitars.

In 2014 he was selected to be part of the “Vivaldi Metal project” album, a project involving musicians from all over the world including Rick Wakeman (Yes), Mark Boals, Michael Lepond (Symphony X), Atma Anur

and many more.

In 2018 Andy graduated from Falmouth University with a BA (Hons) degree in Creative music performance. About Andy’s teaching philosophy: Andy has been teaching for over 13 years, students of all ages, beginner and advanced. He can help you develop a solid practice routine that will target specific areas of your playing, but most importantly, can help you find your own voice on the instrument, whether you just want to learn for fun or are willing to take the next step.

His main styles are: rock, metal, blues, funk and pop.
