Arnaldo C is a Venezuelan pianist graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of
Music and Dance with a Bachelor’s degree. He started his studies when he was six years old in his hometown Margarita, Venezuela, and in 2015 he moved to Caracas to continue his studies there.
In 2018 he moved to London, where he was offered the Trinity College Scholarship and the NOSWAD Scholarship to support his studies In Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Since his arrival he has also been a teacher of World Heart Beat Music Academy, giving several recitals and concerts and holding a teaching agenda for young talented students.
Arnaldo has been a finalist in the John Longmire Competition (2021), second prize winner of the Alfred Kitchin piano competition (2022), and first prize winner in the Silvia Eisenstein piano competition in Caracas (2016). He has played in many solo and chamber recitals in different venues in London and Spain, like St. George’s church Beckenham, St. Barnabas’ Church Southfields, St. Francis West Wickham, Casino de Salamanca, and prospects many more future performances, including international competitions. His repertoire expands between all the classical music styles, as well as different Latin American genres and popular music.
Arnaldo is also a successful music educator, being a piano teacher in World Heart Beat Music Academy and Cycling Music Teachers Academy. His methods of teaching piano and music theory include improvisation, game-learning dynamics, songwriting, body rhythmics, chord-charts reading, aural training exercises and performance training. His knowledge of different pedagogical approaches and music genres allows him to give a personalized and enjoyable learning experience to each one of his students, which is the main purpose of his lessons. He is also well-acquainted with the ABRSM, Rock School and Trinity College syllabuses, and he is also a member of EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association).
