Erhan O

Guitar and Music Theory

Erhan was born in Istanbul in 1990 and started playing guitar in school years. He received

harmony and ear training from Saint Benoit High School under the guidance of music director Doğan Kospançalı in 2007. He gained experience on stage with electric and acoustic guitar in those years by various styles (pop, rock, blues, etc.). Erhan met with Yavuz Darıdere in 2013 and attended his Jazz Ensemble classes. Erhan admired the Gypsy Jazz (Jazz Manouche) style in 2014 and started working to specialise in this field.


In 2017, he went to Paris to attend various workshops. He took Turkish Music, Classical Music, Jazz Theory and Ensemble lessons from CRR Jazz Orchestra's Chief Dr. Nail Yavuzoglu and shared the same stage several times.

Between 2013-2020 Erhan performed at many jazz festivals and jazz scenes in Turkey. He moved to London

in November 2020, where he continued recording work and released his first single 'Blues Skies'.
