Violin and Music Theory

French-Korean violinist Grace Sibre is an experienced and dedicated violin teacher, passionate about inspiring students of all levels. She began playing the violin at the age of seven with Professor Florin Szigeti, a member of the Enesco Quartet, and studied with him at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris until 2020. She also received guidance from Nadezhda Korshakova, assistant to the renowned pedagogue Zakhar Bron.


Grace has participated in international masterclasses with leading musicians such as Suzanne Gessner, Pavel Vernikov, Zakhar Bron, Olivier Charlier, Kim Nam-Yoon and Radu Blidar. She has also been recognized in international competitions, winning prizes in France, Belgium and Germany.


After winning a scholarship to study at Chetham’s School of Music in 2020, she continued her training for two years before moving to the Royal College of Music in London, where she is currently studying under Professor Alexander Gilman. Alongside her performing career, she has worked with students of various ages, focusing on technique, musicianship and confidence building. She also draws on her experience playing with the LGT Young Soloists, including a tour of Asia and a recent recording project in December 2024, to inspire young musicians.


As a teacher, Grace aims to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students develop both technical excellence and a deep appreciation of music.
