Jayden Barker has been a drum teacher for almost 4 years; playing drums from the age of 11, he has had musical inspirations from varying genres, such as jazz, hip-hop, and funk, which grew into his main music tastes. He enjoys teaching and playing these genres, alongside pop, RnB, and indie, in tandem with a strong foundation of understanding a multitude of genres coinciding with how to teach.

During his undergraduate studies, Jayden underwent a joint honours degree in Drumming and Events Management at the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM Institute. During this time, he began privately teaching and discovered that this is where he thrives! He began to teach a range of ages (6-32) with a range of varying abilities. Additionally, Jayden specialises in teaching disabled and neurodiverse students due to his interpersonal relationship with disability and neurodivergence throughout his lifetime.
