Josh is a professional guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and music teacher. With many years’ experience delivering tuition both in schools and privately, he teaches a wide variety of ages, abilities and styles.

He offers lessons that are centered around the student’s goals and aspirations, whether this is for a graded syllabus, technical development or study of a particular style or repertoire. His lessons are built around a communicative approach and his great enthusiasm for music.

As a professional musician, he has a wealth of performance experience playing across the U.K. and internationally in a broad range of styles. Josh has performed at numerous festivals multiple times, such as Glastonbury as a Jazz artist in residence, as well as with bands at Boomtown, Latitude, Rebellion Punk Festival and many more. He is currently playing for Reggae/ Hip-Hop band Last Tree Squad, RnB/ Soul artist Lionhaire, Jazz Fusion group Nowhere Ensemble as well as writing and performing his own original Jazz compositions under the title JIAL.
