Louie N is a Jazz drummer & educator originally from Devon, UK. He graduated Trinity Laban in 2022, and has since worked as a professional musician in the UK and abroad. He has toured nationally with celebrated pianist Johnathan Gee (Benny Golson, Art Farmer, Pharoah Sanders). He works in London with the Alan Weekes quartet, Singers Camille Rose and Ineza Kerschamp, and the Bukky Leo Quartet, among many others. He plays at venues such as Pizza Express, Piano Bar, Alfie’s, Jack Solomon’s  the Haggerston, Effra Hall Tavern, Olivers Jazz Bar and many more.


In 2023 to 2024 Louie travelled to Indonesia, where he explored their traditional music of Gamelan, while exploring and playing in jazz clubs across Jakarta and Bali.


Louie has been a teacher in both the private and the public education system for nearly 5 years, and has a wealth of teaching experience across a range of styles. He has tutored students through Rockschool and Trinity Grades, and can teach from a beginner to a high professional standard. His lessons will include technique, sight reading, aural skills, and many other important aspects of musicianship.
